A - Yes, I am fully insured and covered.
A - 80% (if not more) of my client base are anxious and/or elderly pups. If your pup does have any behavioural issues, I kindly ask that you make me aware of this prior to your appointment. This way I can make sure that I block out extra time for your fur baby, and we can takes things slow and at their pace.
I will attempt every effort to reduce their anxiety with things like using the dryer on low, soothing reiki, playing calm music and making sure they receive lots of love and patience during the groom.
A - Muzzles are only used as a last resort in my salon. There are pups who find a muzzle will make them more calm, and there are pups who find a muzzle will stress them out and make them more anxious.
The only time a muzzle is used is when the groom becomes unsafe to continue for me or the dog.
When signing your grooming contract, you are asked to provide your Registered Veterinary Practice & mobile number.
In case of an emergency, I will contact your vets ahead of time before transporting them to that location (or the nearest emergency vet). I will also inform you of the situation via phone call. It is vital that your phone is with you and on loud at all times throughout the groom in case of emergency.
*A vehicle is always on premises to transport your pet ICE.
A - For long-haired pups, I generally suggest to have a full groom every 6 weeks and a bath and blow-dry in-between.
For short-haired pups, I suggest a full groom every 6-8 weeks with a bath & blow-dry inbetween.
A - I am a cage-free salon, meaning that your dog has free roam to run around, have a drink, play with some toys or just chill out whilst waiting for pick-up.
A - No, your dog will not be around other dogs. I am a 1-1 groomer, meaning that there are no other dogs in or around the salon at any time.
If your pup is not dog-friendly, please rest assured that they will be safe and secure in my salon.
A - Yes, I am fully trained in canine first aid & behaviour. I am prepared in case of emergencies, wound care, choking, CPR, and recognising illnesses in pets.
